Sarah Moore Vintage Pop Up
This weekend I was pleased to attend the spring floral and fabric pop up event that was set up by Sarah Moore. Sarah Moore is an interior and homewares designer and writer for Country Living magazine. She also won the BBC 2’s First Great Interior Design Challenge in 2014 and presented her spring floral and fabric pop up event in her new home.
Sarah now lives in beautiful North Marden situated in the south downs. Her home is between Petersfield and Chichester. I believe this it the second of Sarah’s Spring Floral and Spring pop up events, it was a glorious two day event. Sarah is well known known for her love of beautiful vintage unique floral fabrics and presented a barn full of beautiful vintage fabrics, pretty gardenalia and kitchenalia.
Although a little windy it was a beautiful day, Sarah’s home is nestled in the very pretty country side and is very picturesque. The barn is perfect for her presentation of all the vintage goods that were available for buyers. Sarah also put on a a vintage fabric corsage workshop for those who wanted to make their own vintage brooch. Tickets were available to purchase prior to the event.
As well as Sarah, there were a range of fabric furniture and haberdashery sellers presenting a lovely mix of eclectic homewares and vintage furniture. For the children there were some sweet lambs, who were being bottle fed whilst we were there. Sarah also put on a pop up tea room in the converted dairy. As well as looking through her barn of beautiful items, we popped into the tea room and had a pot of tea and some lovely fruit cake.
It was lovely to chat to Sarah who was very friendly and told us about her time on the programme. Sarah comes across exactly as she did on the program. She is full of life and easy to chat to, she told some funny stories about her move from London down to live in the country side.
I spent a very enjoyable few hours at the pop up event with some beautiful fabrics available. For more info on Sarah visit her website
